A Day in the Life of a Legal Researcher

Today, I did some legal research for a police brutality case our firm is handling. Our client was badly injured on his own property when two officers attempted to arrest him without reason. I was able to find cases that said that a person has a right to use reasonable force to resist an unlawful arrest. These cases will undermine the other side’s defense and help our client get a better outcome. I like legal research and love that I have the opportunity to help clients of Gold Star Law by doing something I enjoy and do well.
